Get up and running and become a certified, proficient user of any of the technologies that we sell with our Product Setup and Intermediate Technical Training. Maximise the potential of your 3D Printers and/or 3D Scanners and Software with one of our trained professionals.

Available as a half or full day workshop for up to 10 attendees, this workshop is tailored to your hardware and covers best practice for: hardware setup, maintenance and troubleshooting, basic repairs, managing upgrades and software use.

In addition to this, all attendees will also receive Intermediate User Certification for the products covered during the course.

Course Overview

A deeper understanding of both the hardware and software is essential for anyone who wants to achieve the best print quality and push the limits of their 3D Printing and/or Scanning technology.

In this course, that is tailored to the hardware and software your organisation has purchased from us, best practice is covered for: maintenance, basic repairs, upgrades and software operation.

The exact course contents depend upon your hardware and software, but generally include:

  • Installation & Setup
  • Introduction to Hardware
  • Introduction to Software
  • Introduction to Materials (for 3D printing)
  • Introduction to Scanning (where applicable)
  • Introduction to Troubleshooting

The half day course covers the basics, whilst the full day course covers each module in more depth. To get the most out of the training, a full day course is recommended if training is required on multiple 3D printer models and/or 3D printers and scanners.

  • Software features and capabilities

  • Optimising 3D printing for – Speed/Strength/Quality
  • Optimising 3D scanning for – Speed/Quality
  • Designing and Optimising for 3D printing*

 Introduction to Troubleshooting

  • Identifying common issues
  • Solve simple issues (i.e blocked nozzle, prints not sticking to the build plate & warping)
  • Misaligned prints*
